Rebecca Parrish ’00 Wins Sullivan Regional Service Award

Director of Institutional Grants, Rebecca Parrish ’00, was nominated by President Boone J. Hopkins for the Sullivan Faculty & Staff Regional Service Award.
Parrish won the award at the inaugural Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation Showcase in March 2023. The award is presented to partner school faculty & staff members or graduates who have provided extraordinary service to their campus or community.
Converse’s relationship with the Sullivan Foundation began nearly two decades ago, and we are one of the schools they support at the highest level. The Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation provides annual scholarships to Converse students who demonstrate high personal character, a commitment to public service, financial need, and academic promise.
Parrish, who graduated from Converse’s MLA program, joined the Converse staff in July 2021 and brings years of experience in nonprofit program management and teaching.
Several Converse colleagues attended the showcase, including President Hopkins, Former Senior Vice President Dr. Tom McDaniel, Director for Philanthropy Gina Miller, Donor Programs Coordinator Joe Satava, and Converse College for Women Assistant and Admissions Coordinator Karen Mims ’22.
